Comparing the past to present

Today we will shift back more than 150 years in time.  A number of you have identified a historical lens as key to dissect the reasons behind events now. 

As you watch the video on Canada's history from 1850 to 1867,  reflect on the themes from the articles on Canada's 150 birthday celebrations. 

Take note of key players, dates and places.     

I will ask you to find connections and make evaluations on how Canada's past influences the present.
