In Canada, Indigenous peoples were mistreated in the Canadian system of education. Children were forced to enter residential schools. These children lost their languages, culture and at times, their lives.

Who is responsible to implement this action?  

The Canadians government and schools are responsible to implement this action.

Give one suggestion on how they might address the call?

Orange Shirt Day is one way that schools are raising awareness on the destructive effects of residential schools.  Students and teachers must reflect on ways to reconcile and create change in schools.
